Thanksgiving minus one

Look! It’s back! Veggie turkey.

Oh, come on. Isn’t he just the cutest thing ever? It’s like pulling your pumpkin decorations out of the attic. He only gets to come out once a year.

And…

You never know. Maybe you just say, “Hey, I know what I’ll bring. The veggie platter that looks like a turkey. But, wait. How did it look again?”

BAM. You have it right here. Happy to serve.

Now,  besides V-T, what else are you bringing to tomorrow’s holiday? Your running shoes for the Turkey Trot? Or, maybe for Black Thursday which I understand is the new Black Friday?

All important, yes, but here’s the most important thing of all to remember.

Bring a good attitude and a plan to connect. Write extra in your gratitude journal. Appreciate the sky, the air, and the people in your lives. Appreciate the people who aren’t in your lives. Do an act of kindness anonymously. Better yet, plan to do that each day between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. That will be the quickest path to the fullest joy you can feel.

I am thankful for you.

About @jamieweil

I'm on an adventure to bring happiness, relaxation, and some shine to a stressed out world. You might call it a Divine mission. Covid Season 2020 has taught me some important lessons about myself and about you, but most importantly about US. I have written about those in a book called Shine: When Chasing Sacred Spaces Goes Dark, my 6th book which came out December 2020 and hit #1 Bestseller in 7 categories thanks to my readers. I teach an online class to empower empaths through writing and am holding my first writing retreat for empaths under the Full Flower Moon and Lunar Eclipse May 5-7, 2023 in mystical Mt. Shasta, California. We have sold our house, not bought another, and have set out on a synchronistic adventure with Kai, our 103 pound lab, at the center. We call it The Kainnection Adventure. Dogs are the equalizers of all. (Home base: www.jamieweil.net)
